About the project

The University of North Texas Net Zero Building was the new construction of a 1,250-square-foot residential-style prototype building with zero reliance on traditional energy sources. The project included six 250’ deep geothermal wells, rainwater harvesting purified for potability, photovoltaic solar collectors, and wind generation.
